All OFFSHORE GSM applications
         lodged before 1 September 2007 will be withdrawn from processing    and the applicants will have their visa application charge refunded.
         This does not apply to onshore pre 1 September 2007 GSM applicants.
         This will affect about 20,000 applicants.
         Offshore GSM applications made before 1 September 2007 and which are currently at the Migration Review Tribunal will be subject to this change.
The MODL has been abolished as at 8 February 2010. 
       The MODL has been removed as at 8 February 2010.  This means that people currently studying a course which was previously on the MODL will not be able to claim points for a MODL occupation in the future.  However, MODL points are still available for
       people who hold a subclass 485 visa as at 8 February 2010.
       applicants for a subclass 485 visa lodged before 8 February 2010.  If you are in this class you may claim MODL points if you lodge you PR application before 31 December 2012.
       applicants for a permanent skilled migration visa lodged before 8 February 2010.
Current CSL-Critical Skills List and Priority Processing will continue until the new Skilled Occupation List comes into place in Mid-2010.
